About the Author

Eugen Anitas received his PhD in theoretical physics from West University of Timisoara, Romania in 2009. He is currently leading the "Theory of Solid State and Models in Condensed Matter" group in Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna, Russia. His main research interests are focused on theoretical and experimental structural analysis of complex systems at the nano- and micro-scales.
